Marigny - Les Granges (Corbigny), Day 10, Monday 20/8/12
Not much sleep last night, there is absolutely no air to breathe. We left at 9am heading for Les Granges and arrived at 11.30am. Some cows had escaped their field and were walking along the towpath!
We stayed here on the way to Tannay and this is the only decent stop before the Baye run of 24 locks and 3 tunnels, with facilities.
We took a taxi again in the evening to Corbigny, after relaxing most of the day, tidying the boat, and having the toilet pumped out.
We had a meal this time in the Hotel l'Europe, a superb meal of cote de boeuf and home-made chips, with snails to start, James reckons I will turn into a snail before the holiday finishes! The souffle dessert rounded the meal off very well. Expensive meal at 96€, but the best yet.
