Up at 8am as James was heading to Corbigny to buy fuel for the boat. The kind marina man gave him a lift with 2 x 20l canisters. There is a severe lack of fuel on the Canal du Nivernais and the only way to get fuel is from supermarkets which are not always close by!
We left at 9am sharp, heading for Baye again, through 23 locks and the 3 tunnels, and arrived at 3.30pm absolutely dripping in sweat from the heat. Between us we had nearly 6 diet cokes on route.
We tied up on the wall overlooking the Etang ~(no facilities), but it was so peaceful. Tuna Nicoise on board for dinner and some cards......Jim won again!
