Up at 8.30am, and thankfully a light breeze. We left at 9am and were delayed by the lazy git of a lock-keeper taking his time getting the lock ready - the same lazy git from a week ago!
After the 20 minute delay, we locked through and away we went heading for Chatillon en Bazois again. We lunched inside a lock again on board and arrived at 2.30pm. The approach to the town from the other side was so beautiful with the round tower of the castle dominating the side of the towpath.
We had a meal again in the same hotel as last time.......more snails, yum yum!
