Les Granges (Corbigny) - Flez Cuzy (Tannay), Day 7, Friday 17/8/12

Up and away for 9.15am, again beautiful hot sunshine and not a cloud in the sky. Can we have a wee bit of rain please????? Just kidding. 18km to travel today and 12 locks plus some mobile bridges (!) to Tannay where we will stay 2 nights. Crazy Days stopped at Citry Les Mines as their friends were heading back to the UK and were picking up the train from there. We arrived at Tannay at 4pm with beautiful scenery on route and tied up alongside in the Le Boat halte nautique. Electricity, Water, and a bar across the road, just what the doctor ordered. The heat is becoming unbearable. We enjoyed a few drinks in the Bar and then headed to Flez Cuzy, the little village beside Tannay, to check out the recommended restaurant for dinner. Had another drink in the bar l'Estaminet and booked for dinner. The owner was very helpful giving us leaflets and cards suggesting wine tastings for tomorrow. After a lovely dinner of chicken salads and desserts, we headed back to the boat and watched Mrs. Brown's Boys DVD - absolutely hilarious - apologies to the nearby boats for our loud laughter!
