The Final Chapter - Ginger Grouse, Genoa, Italy - Wednesday 20th May, 2009

Well......our adventure is over and we have had such fun over the last year on our travels, it has been absolutely amazing.
We have been exceptionally lucky and found a buyer in Genoa and Ginger Grouse now has a proud new owner, Roberto Ponte. The transaction couldn't have been more straightforward, through Alberto Gaggero, the Broker, whose son Nicola helped with the translating! We were treated with the utmost courtesy and taken for a beautiful meal last night
We said farewell this morning to GG, having spent the last 2 days clearing our personal effects and having them shipped home (a big thanks to George Wilson for all his help in this matter).
It is highly likely we will be starting another adventure soon, so watch this space!
Ciao for now, and we hope you all enjoyed reading and following the blog as much as we did writing it.
Irene & James xx
