Spectacular Cassis Views - Wednesday 28th January, 2009

We have had an amazing couple of days of weather here in Cassis and the sunsets have been absolutely stunning.
Today, there were people sunbathing on the beach, topless! We couldn't believe it - sorry, I didn't want them to think we were perverts by taking a photo so you will just need to take my word for it!
We walked to Port du Miou which is the closest of Les Calanques (one of 3 fjords here) which took us just under an hour and the views were amazing. This particular Port du Miou has 500 pleasure boats moored there and I think they were all in the water at the same time!
We continued along the walking trail and had a nice lunch stop in the sunshine with our packed sandwiches.
The rest of the afternoon, we relaxed on the flybridge again, with some drinks.
We cannot get over how beautiful this place is, and we will be sorry to leave tomorrow, but the weather is perfect for our 35nm trip to our next stop, Ile De Porquerroles which is one of the three Iles d'Or.
