We are still enjoying ourselves very much and cannot believe how fast the time is passing…….We are putting our Xmas decorations up at the end of this week on board!
The weather is still wall to wall sunshine with a bitter cold northerly wind most of the time, but it is dry and very pleasant if you find a sun trap out of the wind. Unfortunately, we have still not managed to get out sailing due to the high winds, and hope to get out before we leave for the UK on 7th December.
We have been busy doing a bit of maintenance on board, with Jim servicing the Anchor Windlass. Even though it has never been used, we want to make sure it will work if and when we need it next year!
On Tuesday I had a lovely stroll along the beach, watching the windsurfers being blown along at a huge rate of knots in the breeze and on Wednesday I had a lovely birthday which started with Smoked Salmon for breakfast, opening my pressies and then we cycled to Agde in the afternoon to change one of the gifts, a beautiful designer jacket, which was too big. Luckily they had a smaller one which fitted perfectly and I found lovely cropped trousers to match. In the evening, we had another fab night at the Casino with dinner and playing the machines - hours of fun but no big wins!
So, that is me 45 years young, here’s to the next 45 and if they are like the last, then life will be just perfect.
