We were all up early and away at 9.30am, heading for St. Mammes. The weather is a bit cloudier today and slightly colder.
The scenery on route was again absolutely stunning, with beautiful houses along the River Seine. We passed Samois where Django Reinhardt is buried and then passed Champagne Sur Seine, through another lock (they are a piece of cake now!) and to the Halte Fluvial at St. Mammes which was thankfully almost empty, arriving at 12.15pm.
Great facilities, with water, electricity and showers and a fuelling berth opposite on the other side of the River.
We will be here until Tuesday, when Billy and Kath leave to get the train to Paris, for their flight home.
St. Mammes is 48’23’.32N 002’48’.38E and we have travelled 1189 nm up to this point.
