Our mural wallpaper arrived yesterday, a week after ordering with a company in Liverpool, and we were keen to see it up, so the planned Spa visit this week-end went out of the window!
Our bedroom decor was a bit on the boring side according to the man of the house, so what better than a whole wall of the Grand Canal in Venice, a place so dear to both of us.
We had to clear the lounge so that we could put the sections on the floor flat for soaking with water using a sponge, and then James prepped the wall with paste, a section at a time, and hey presto, two and a half hours later, we have a new bedroom! This mural came in 3 pieces, not sure if we could have coped with a 12 piece one. You need to overlap the sections and then once they are registerd, trim down both edges and keep your fingers crossed they meet up exactly.
James did a wonderful job, and he was so right, our bedroom was boring, but not now!

Hi! I love your wallpaper and was looking at pictures I could use for my own mural wallpaper. so far, yours is my favorite! Could you tell me where you found it please?
Thanks,
Aly
Hi, thanks for your interest. We bought this mural wallpaper from
http://www.muralswallpaper.co.uk/
and they had this actual image in stock, you just give them the sizes of your wall and they produce it for you. It was quite tricky to match, but with care you can get a good result. It is quite expensive, just to warn you, ours was over £450.
