Eventful Times!

It has been an eventful couple of weeks to say the least. My bag with laptop and work things got stolen on my way back to Glasgow, outside the Gare de Lyon, and after 2 hours with the police in CDG Airport, I headed home without any keys, hopeful that our neighbours would be in to get the spare set, and they were! To cap all that, the backup in Glasgow had not been working since 3rd May, so I had to re-build the accounts from that date all over again. After 4 long 15 hour days, we are back up to speed again. Phew! Hard lesson learned.
Apart from that and the miserable weather in Glasgow, things are good. My mum is well, my blood results from the doctor are excellent and our wee house is just fine.
Jim is home alone, looking after things in France, and he has been down at Ginger Grouse II in Chalon buying new fenders for our forthcoming week's holiday, starting Sunday. We are planning on visiting Tournus and Louhans, through the canals. Only 4 locks in total, so should be a breeze according to the Captain. Can't wait!
Frog report - Jim saw 2 tadpoles in the frog pond today.......so you can guess what has been going on in there. We may need to re-home them if they grow up and become too noisy!
We will blog after our week's holiday on the canals, with hopefully some nice pictures - all our pictures are now lost on the old laptop, bit of a bummer :-(
