Before and After!

Jim has done extremely well in the past few weeks on his own. He has completely finished the hall by stripping the walls and doors, painting, wallpapering and laying floor tiles. The painting and flooring took him longer than he expected, but his hard work has really paid off and we are both delighted with the result.
Jim is now back in the UK safe and sound, driving from France to Amsterdam during the week and getting the overnight Ferry to Newcastle on Thursday, as he has 2 St. Patrick's gigs on Friday and Saturday.
We are having a week in Venice on holiday from 28th March and then Jim will head back around about the 5th April to France, driving our new kitchen across and that will be his next task!
I will head over to France on the 16th of April to trial working from there for a couple of weeks, and then provided it all works out, will work 3 weeks from France, one week UK, every month. Fingers crossed everything works out ok, and I can enjoy the nice sunshine as well as work at the same time.
We are also planning, if all goes well with the house decorating, to perhaps sail Ginger Grouse II from Chalon through the Canal du Rhone-au-Rhin to Switzerland, late summer, taking a couple of weeks out to do this.
