We said farewell to France today and our last port of call there, the marvellous Monaco. Our little French courtesy flag has now been replaced by an Italian one and we are very excited about entering another country.
We left at 12.45 pm this afternoon, heading East across the Italian border and into Marina Degli Aragai in San Stefano Al Mare at 3pm. There was much welcomed sunshine today, albeit a bit cloudy, but it is better than travelling in depressing drizzle. The sea had a bit of a swell from the SW but as we were heading East, it had little impact on our pleasant journey.
We will relax here for a couple of days before continuing on our Italian adventure later in the week.
San Stefano Al Mare is 43’50.227N 007’54’.652E, and we travelled 25.50nm today. This takes our total mileage to 2121nm and makes this port our 75th stop.
