We are having a lovely time in Cap D’Agde and are pleased that we have found such a suitable spot to stay for a few months to relax, unwind and prepare our route for next year’s adventure further into The Med.
The weather has been absolutely glorious over the past few weeks with clear blue skies and bright sunshine. Long may it continue!
Lizard Beach is right next to our pontoon and we enjoy walking in the winter sunshine and watching the dogs playing with the waves.
We had a lovely Wednesday night Curry Evening on board MyTime with Julie and Martin, enjoying delicious home made Chicken Tikka, Chilli Mushrooms, Bombay Potatoes, Lamb Rogan Josh & Garlic Chilli Chicken. The food was fab - Indian food is something the French cannot do!It is our turn this Wednesday and we have a lot to live up to!

We spend most of our days cycling, which is keeping us really fit, and cycled to Agde yesterday, 9 mile round trip. It was a beautiful day and we parked the bikes in the centre of the town and walked around the tourist route, taking in the sites. The ‘La Belle Agathoise’ fountain was particularly lovely which shows ancient Agathe watching over the town, holding back the fountain’s marble beasts, and Square Picheire was amazingly painted on the outside of the 13th Century buildings.
After a nice light lunch of Moules Frites in a lovely Restaurant set on the River L’Herault, we cycled alongside the Canal Du Midi to the Ecluse Ronde. All I can say is, thank God our air draught is too high to do this Canal, as the round lock looked incredibly difficult to tackle. The Autumn colours on the Canal were amazingly beautiful.

Tonight, we are celebrating my birthday early with a night at the Casino, as our friends leave next Thursday to head back to the UK for the winter. We are looking forward to tonight very much, and fingers crossed Lady Luck will be with us.
We will update the blog next week and let you all know if we are millionaires...........
