We left Paris in bright, hot sunshine at 2pm, through the lock into the Seine, heading for Port Cerises, arriving at 5.30pm. It was a very pleasant journey with the locks getting smaller and much easier to manage.
I had made a nice chilli for dinner, earlier in the morning, before we left, and we enjoyed that with some rice and Ile Flotantes for dessert, with some lovely French cheese & biscuits to finish.
Port Aux Cerises was quite pleasant, set beside a lovely park, with a nice couple of bars within walking distance, so it was a very nice overnight stay.
