We got a bit of good news today, the clinical trial is now open at the Beatson, with all the legalities signed off. James is unfortunately back in the Beatson, after his blood transfusion on Thursday. His temperature was just not settling at home and in the early hours of Friday morning, we headed to the ward for admission. He is on some antibiotics to try and bring his temperature down and he received a further blood transfusion on Saturday, which made his temperature rise yet again. The Doctor doesn't seem to think this will jeopardise admission to the trial, all being well, we will find out next week when his screening and trial start date is.

Good News - The Trial is Open! - Friday 9/5/13
