Congratulations to the Ayr Silver Cup winner, Mass Rally. It was not our original choice, but as we chose a non-runner, the lovely Paddy Power refunded our £5 bet, so I chose Mass Rally as it was number 2 and one of my lucky numbers. At 16-1, it was a nice each way return. Spinatrix who came fourth, was another nice 14-1 each way too! Moohajim, chosen for obvious reasons, rattled past the post at Newbury, a classy little horse, and one to remember. Great racing day on Channel 4!
We were not so lucky in the Gold Cup at Ayr, 5 horses chosen, and not a win or a place between them!
You can't win them all, still stuffed Paddy Power for £25 profit on the day, result!
