Being in Vegas for my 48th Birthday was 'magnifique', just a pity it was spent travelling back to the UK! So, we celebrated on the Friday night instead. I was given $1,000,000 as a special birthday treat, to spend as I wanted - unfortunately it was under lock and key.......oh well, I can dream! Jim got me some lovely gifts, including a Vicks Sinex Nasal Spray to clear my endless blocked nose and a beautiful Swarovski Crystal horse.
We had a fun day drinking champagne in The Bellagio, seeing The Price is Right Show in Bally's and having dinner with the most amazing views of the Strip in the Eiffel Tower Restaurant - a first class meal of Lobster salad, pumpkin soup with shredded duck, sea bass with barley and vegetables, Venison chop with greens, Chocolate souffle and coffee and petit fours, all accompanied with a wine flight for every course.
There is no better way to spend your birthday, believe me, Las Vegas Rocks!
